  • How do I know what district I live in?

  • Where do I go to vote?

    To obtain voting information and learn where your polling station is, visit the Richmond City

    Office of Elections and the Virginia Department of Elections website.

  • How do I report an issue to the City (e.g. potholes, overgrown lawn, fallen trees, ect)?

    To report issues, tax statuses, and other constituent concerns to the City of Richmond you may: 

  • How do I speak at City Council regarding an issue that is important to me?

    To participate, you will need to: 

    • Call the City Clerk’s office at (804) 646-7955, and select option 3; or 
    • Send an email to CityClerksOffice@rva.gov with your request to speak or comments.

    All requests or written comment submissions must be made no later than 10:00 am on the day of the meeting to participate. Time is set aside at the end of each City Council meeting for

    Citizen Comment. Each citizen is asked to keep remarks shorter than 3 minutes. See the City

    Council’s Rules of Procedure for more information.
